As a global company, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment. Even just owing to the location of our headquarters in the romantic Jagsttal Valley in the picturesque Hohenloher Land region, we feel an obligation toward the environment and its conservation. We base our conduct and business on the principles of continuous improvement and sustainability. In our environment policy we have defined our objectives with regard to environmental protection, thus setting a good example to our suppliers. Our objectives: to care for the environment and conserve resources whilst meeting the high quality requirements of our customers in the process. Our products meet all legal requirements prescribed in Germany and the European Union, as well as customer-specific requirements. For the implementation of RoHS and REACh, a team of specialists was formed in our company which is readily available both to our customers and suppliers in an advisory capacity.
Our energy management is certified at all of our locations as per ISO 50001:2018.
The economical use of raw materials and power is just as much a concern of ours as the reintroduction of any resulting recyclable materials into the material cycle. We ensure the best possible environmental compatibility when choosing products and processes to use and employ the most efficient techniques available when doing so. Due to our modern machinery, regular maintenance and the qualified training of our staff, we reduce the risk of malfunctions and accidents, thus minimising accident-induced environmental damage and harm to our employees' health.
It is not legislation that has compelled us to take the aforementioned actions – they have been introduced of our own volition. This is why environmental protection is actively experienced at LTI.
