Data protection

LTI-Metalltechnik GmbH are delighted that you are visiting our website and by your interest in our company and our products. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and handle it with the greatest care and confidentiality. We therefore use it only in accordance with the data protection regulations that apply.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

Visiting our website is possible without providing any personal information. However, for statistical data collection, access data (so-called server log files) are stored, like the name of your Internet service provider, the page from which you are visiting us, the name and URL of the website you accessed, and the date and duration of access.

In some situations, e.g. when taking up contact with us, we require personal data from you in order to process your request correctly. This information includes company name, salutation, title, first and surname, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. However, we only collect this personal data when you provide it to us voluntarily, by filling out the relevant forms (e.g. contact forms). Against this background, it is completely up to you to decide whether you would like to fill out these forms or not.

The data provided in this respect will only be used to the extent necessary in each case, for example to respond to your enquiries, process your orders or provide you access to certain information. If required, your data will be passed on within the LTI Group. The data will not be forwarded to third parties without your express consent.

Use of cookies

We use what are referred to as 'cookies' for data collection and storage. They help us to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies also help us to measure the frequency with which websites are accessed and general navigation. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. We indicate to you that some of these cookies are saved on your computer from our server. In most cases, these will be 'session cookies'. 'Session cookies' are cookies that are automatically deleted from your hard disk at the end of a particular session. Other cookies stay on your computer system and allow us to identify your system the next time you visit (so-called permanent cookies). You can set up your Web browser so that cookies cannot be stored onto your terminal or arrange for cookies that have already been stored to be deleted.

Data protection statement regarding Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a Web-analysis service from Google Inc. ["Google"].

Google Analytics uses what are referred to as 'cookies', text files that are stored on your computer, and which permit your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie of your use of this website (including your IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on your website activities for the website operator and to provide additional services associated with website use and Internet usage. Google will also send this information to third parties if this is legally mandated or if third parties are handling this data on behalf of Google. Google will never associate your IP address with other data from Google. You can prevent the storing of cookies through the settings in your browser's software. However, we would advise you that in such an instance you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose mentioned above.
Plugin: You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) at Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Anonymize IP: Given the discussion around the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to advise you that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension '_anonymizeIP()' and IP addresses are therefore only further processed when shortened to prevent direct personal references.
You can find further information on data protection regulations for Google Analytics at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
